DR. JORDAN N. ROGERS
Dr. Rogers serves as our Pastor of Preaching & Teaching and has been at Hillcrest since September of 2014. He and his wife Julia have three children: Josiah, Elijah, and Addison Jordan (Addy Jo).
Dr. Rogers' firm belief in the inerrancy and authority of Scripture is demonstrated through consistent and passionate expository preaching.
While in undergraduate studies, Jordan was a decorated college athlete, playing baseball for San Jacinto Junior College and then Rice University. As a pitcher, Jordan was drafted to play Major League Baseball by three different teams (Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs), but followed the calling of God to give his life full-time to the preaching of God's Word.
