Jim Johnson
Elder, Pastor of Administration
Having served in the ministry for 32 years in Alabama, Georgia, and Texas, Jim joined the staff in 2002. Jim also serves as a part-time chaplain for Market Place Ministries. Jim and his wife Cheryl, an English instructor at Lamar University in Beaumont, have been fabulously married for over 35 years. They have three adult children: Aaron and his wife, Susan and son Colton, Elise and her husband Zeke and daughter, Everly, and Holly and her husband Jaython, and two grand-dogs, Bentley, and Tex. Jim's hobbies include hunting, fishing, running, and cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide-Roll Tide!
